The controlled media is up to its usual tricks. They discovered long ago that the best way to manipulate the news is to blatantly distort and lie about the subject – or simply ignore it completely.
Such is the case with GOP presidential candidate Ron Paul (R-Tex). According to the media, no such person actually exists – despite the fact that in every legitimate online poll taken after each “debate” he is, without question, the clear-cut winner.
In the last debate of 10 candidates on June 5 in Manchester NH, Rep. Paul was questioned eight times and allowed to speak for exactly six and a half minutes out of the two hour commercial-free debate. Amazingly, in that microscopic bit of time, he won the debate!
The captive media has good reason to ignore him. Dr. Paul is not for sale. Simple as that. He is beholden to no lobby or special interest or foreign government. Unlike his fellow candidates, he represents the interests of the American people. And, of course, we can’t have that.
Which brings us to the Iowa Tax Forum held on June 30 in Des Moines. Of the 10 official Republican presidential candidates, all were invited – except one. Ron Paul was not invited, according to forum sponsors, because he was not a “serious” candidate. He didn’t have a “serious” successful campaign, or any “serious” organization in Iowa.
You won’t hear about this blatant act of censorship in the controlled mainstream media. You will hear about it on the internet, which has become the last bastion of real news. The details of who was involved and the reasons for Ron Paul’s denial of a forum are less important than the fact that a small organization in an insignificant state can decide who is and who isn’t a legitimate candidate for president of the United States.
Since the establishment media didn’t bother to report it, I guess it never happened. No one will know that their freedom of choice was denied. Censorship will prevail and no one will be the wiser.
But wait! There’s good news after all. Ron Paul held his own tax rally next door to the Iowa Tax Forum. Incredibly, despite the media’s attempts to marginalize him, the Paul tax rally drew a bigger and more enthusiastic audience than the “official” rally next door!
Eyewitnesses backed by video camera proof confirmed that Ron Paul drew at least 1,000 to 1,200 people. Every seat of the 1,000 seats available was filled, with at least 200 standing against the walls.
The Des Moines Register put Paul’s numbers at 600 to 800. As mentioned previously, number manipulation is a profitable and effective past time of our exalted leaders. In this case, however, thanks to the video-taped evidence, numbers don’t lie. The “official” Iowa Tax Forum pulled about 600 to 700 people. Ron Paul’s tax forum pulled almost twice as many.
Why? The answer should be obvious. People are starting to wake up – starting to realize that they are, in effect, living in an occupied country! The America of today is a travesty of what it once was. We are the most feared and hated country in the world. And for good reason. And thanks to our so-called “free press” most people don’t even know why.
I wish Ron Paul much success, but I fear his task is insurmountable. In good part thanks to the media and to the censorship efforts of places like Iowa. And, of course, thanks to the indifference of so many, who will have to be told to look up when the sky actually starts to fall.
In the meantime, if you can think of any constructive way to punish the people of Iowa, let me know. I’ll pass it along.
And just as a side note – lets all congratulate Illinois Senator Barack Obama for hauling in $ 32.5 million between April and June, and $ 58 million dollars so far this year. Unbelievable! Way to go, Barack. Since $ 4,600 is the maximum an individual can give to a candidate for the primary and general elections – that’s a whole lot of individuals.
Makes you wonder how many of those individuals represent the interests of various and sundry lobbies and special interests and foreign governments. I’m noticing that the more money you raise, the louder your demands that we bomb Iran. Who would benefit from that atrocity? Not us, that’s for sure.
So there you have it. You can vote for Ron Paul and the restoration of Democracy, or you can vote for Barack Obama. In which case… Bombs Away! Or you can roll the dice with one of the other candidates. If you pick one who really doesn’t represent your best interests, don’t blame me. Happy 4th of July!
