Nicole Lovell Murder: Thrill Killing or Crime of Passion?
Nicole Lovell Murder: Thrill Killing or Crime of Passion?
Thirteen-year-old Nicole Lovell disappeared from her home in Blacksburg, VA on January 27, 2016. Following a three-day search, Lovell’s body was discovered in North Carolina on the side of a road. 18-year old David Eisenhauer and 19-year old Natalie Keepers, both Virginia Tech freshmen, have been charged in the crime. New evidence has suggested that Eisenhauer may have been involved in a relationship with Lovell and this could have supplied the motive for the murder. Was this a “thrill killing” or could there be other factors at play? Criminal Defense Attorney Mike Cavalluzzi breaks down the charges Eisenhauer and Keepers are facing, and also details how victim’s families should handle media requests for interviews in this highlight from Crime Time hosted by Allison Hope Weiner.
