George P. Bush: Formidable Candidate for any Offices

Public service has been a part of the Bush family. George H. W. Bush was the 41st President of the United States (1989–1993) and Ronald Reagan‘s Vice President (1981–1989). George W. Bush, the eldest son of George H. W. Bush, was the 43rd President of the United States. The younger brother of former 43rd the president Jeb Bush served as the 43rd Governor of Florida. Jeb Bush is a prominent member of the Bush family.


And now George P. Bush, the eldest son of Jeb Bush and his wife Columba, the nephew of George W. Bush and the grandson of George H. W. Bush is also a potential candidate for any number offices. Only 34 years old, the young Bush has worked as a real estate developer and an attorney. He is now serving overseas as an intelligence officer with the U.S. Naval Reserve. He made the most of his connection to the Latino community, with proficiency in Spanish. He recently helped establish a political-action committee to employ Hispanic Republicans in Texas.

George P. is now working as an intelligence officer with the U.S. Naval Reserve.


George P’s great grandfather Prescott Bush served as Senator representing Connecticut for eleven years.


George P. has had many political activities. He campaigned for his uncle George W. Bush during the 2000 and 2004 presidential campaigns. In 2004, criticized the U.S. Border Patrol’s use of guns which fire plastic pellets packed with chili powder. Additionally, he has called for a return to fiscal conservatism. He endorsed Marco Rubio, Florida Governor Charlie Crist’s opponent in the Republican primary for the U.S. Senate.


George P. would find it relatively easy to start a run for office thanks to financial connections.


George P. was on the stump, giving the thumbs-up. His father Jeb Bush filed for race of re-election to the post of Florida Governor eight years ago.


At the age of 12, George Prescott Bush appeared on the national stage at the 1988 Republican National convention, which nominated his grandfather. He led the Pledge of Allegiance at the opening session.
