DP Ruto warns state officials against inciting violence

Deputy president William Ruto has issued a warning to county commissioners and government officers to desist from inciting violence in West Pokot.

Ruto spoke during the launch of the construction of Katikomor peace primary school along the Kenya- Uganda border. He urged residents and leaders to cooperate and live in unity to to create an sustainable economic environment that will foster development in the region. Ruto said the school would be used as a measure to stop cattle rustling and to enable a peaceful co-existence among residents of neighboring Trans Nzoia county, West Pokot and Ugandans leaving along the border.
